Shelter

Shelter that Feels Like Home

At Green Pasture and Home Initiative (GPHI), we believe that every child deserves a safe and loving place to call home. For over two decades, we have provided shelter that goes far beyond walls and a roof. Our homes in Kano State and Akure, Ondo State are places of warmth, protection, healing, and hope.

Our shelters are designed to offer holistic care to vulnerable children who have been orphaned, abandoned, abused, or displaced. Each child is welcomed not just as a resident, but as part of a family with dignity, compassion, and love.

Why GPHI Shelter Services Stand Out

Over 200 children have lived and thrived in our homes Safe and secure environments with access to education, healthcare, nutrition, and emotional support Guided by trained caregivers and social workers who serve with love Support for victims of abuse, trafficking, and neglect Integrated with psychosocial services, life skills training, and spiritual growth Our shelters are not just about survival; they are about restoring childhoods, building confidence, and preparing children for a brighter future.

Stories of Transformation

Children who once arrived broken and fearful are now graduates, leaders, and change makers.

“I came to GPHI as a child with nowhere to go. Today, I’m in the university, because someone gave me a second chance through this shelter.”

Every life we touch is a story of resilience, and our homes remain a launching pad for dreams and destiny.

Supporting Justice and Dignity

GPHI has also provided temporary shelter for victims of gender-based violence and trafficking. We work with legal professionals and social workers to ensure survivors receive the protection, healing, and support they deserve. We are proud to say that when others shut their doors, GPHI opens.
